Title: UP THERE Film Fest goes big

The HSMF’s Up There Film Fest packed in 600 people over two nights to check out Mike Marolt and Les Guthman’s film Skiing Everest and the story of the legendary Jackson Hole Air Force as told in the film Swift, Silent and Deep. With help from industry sponsors and local supporters including the Volkl, Black Diamond, Dynafit, Backcountry Access, Jackson Hole Ski Area, the Terra Resort Group, Aspen Mountain, Prospector Lodging, Bridger Bowl, Moonlight Basin, Big Sky Resort, seven lucky folks won some of the best raffle prizes around. We are especially grateful for the support of the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation and the North Face for their contribution to the success of this event. Proceeds from the event will set us up for a great year of sponsoring ski exploration expeditions and avy education programs. Thanks to all who attended. We love the support and look forward to next year!
